Questions parents ask
How is this different from my school counselor?
School counselors are essential and know your school best, but many support hundreds of students. An independent educational consultant can spend more time with one family, meet outside school hours and focus on your child’s plan. We work alongside the school counselor, not instead of them.
Is this only for students aiming at very selective colleges?
No. We help every student find colleges that fit academically, socially and financially, including state universities, honors colleges, community college transfer paths and schools generous with aid.
Do you work online?
Yes. Sessions are online so families anywhere can join, and in person in the Greenville, South Carolina area when possible.
Can we start with one session?
Yes. Book a free 30-minute consultation, or choose a single à la carte session ($150).
Do you help international students?
Yes, including transcripts from non-English-medium schools, U.S. testing and financial aid for international applicants.
Already working on it? Use the free College Admission Tracker for tests, volunteer hours, leadership roles and your college list.
