Volunteer near you, and log every hour.

Find volunteer opportunities in your province, meet the hours your school asks for, and build experience that scholarships, colleges and employers value.

Hours you may need

Check what your school requires.

Ontario: at least 40 hours of community involvement are required for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (ontario.ca ↗). Other provinces and territories: rules differ; some count volunteering toward a course credit and others have no requirement. Ask your school counsellor, and log your hours anyway: they help with scholarships such as Loran and TD.
