Delete your data
You can delete your Global Yuva account and the data saved in it at any time. Here is how.
Effective October 6, 2026
Delete it yourself
- Sign in at globalyuva.org/dashboard.
- Open the College Admission Tracker and scroll to Data and privacy.
- Choose Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.
You can choose Download data first to keep a copy. Parents can delete a linked child’s account the same way.
Ask us by email
Email gyuva2026@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Global Yuva account”. For a child’s account, the parent or guardian should write and name the child.
We confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Remove the connection too
Deleting your Global Yuva account (option 1 or 2) removes your data from Global Yuva. To also remove Global Yuva from your Facebook or Google account:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Global Yuva → Remove.
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps → Global Yuva → Delete connections.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile, email address and mobile number.
- Your Family Home: calendars, to-dos, activities, meal plans, notes and links.
- Progress in challenges and courses, journals, mission and value records, badges and certificates.
- The connection to Facebook or Google sign-in, if you used it.
What we may keep
- Purchase and payment records that tax and accounting law require us to keep. Card details are never stored by Global Yuva; payments are handled by our payment provider.
- Information we must keep to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or comply with the law, only for as long as needed.
- Backups are overwritten on their normal schedule.
Deleting a parent account does not delete a linked child’s separate account. Delete each account you want removed. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle information.
